TRM Open Golf Tourney a Success.

Chambers Bay Golf course was the venue for our 2008 Tacoma Rescue Mission Open and it was a great day.  The event was sponsored by BCRA Architects and many other great folks.  A great big thanks to all the staff and board who helped make yesterday’s TRM Golf Tournament a success.  All of the 85 golfers had a great time and valuable support and awareness was raise to help Homeless Children.  A Special Thanks to Anna Eastabrook for coordinating the event and making it a success.  Additional thanks goes to those who served on the Golf Committee; Ron Thompson, Jim Friesheim, Larry Geringer, Rich Odegard, and Kathy Austin.dc

Great event! Good job putting it on. It was a lot of fun for our donors and people really enjoyed themselves. Thanks to BCRA for their support too!

Well folks, I’ve played in 15 golfaththons and now one Chambers Bay Tournament…I almost think the golfathon was easier! That Chambers Bay is no walk in the park! We had a great time and enjoyed the course, but it will be a few months before I run over there and do it again. however, the views were spectacular!! the water and sports drinks were also great! I was a bit surprised that we didn’t have a senior LD.
but was happy to win low net…
Thanks to Anna and Kathy ++ all the staff ..

I forgot to mention the banquet!!
Chambers Bay out-did themselves,, we had BBQ Ribs, Chicken, hot dogs, bratwurst, potato salad, macaroni salad, corn on the cob, green salad, rolls, etc and a great hot blue berry cobbler! What a feast! it was outstanding!!
The gift baskets were so nice and the many prizes were appreciated by the golfers.
Now that the weather has cooled a bit we may go back for another round..
Also thanks to Holly, Rod and Jan who were all there making it a fun day..
