belief systems, belief systems.... it all starts with belief systems, no matter what the situation is...that is why it is sooooo important to challenge them, self and the world can be subtle and left unchallenged sand can become the foundation ... 0 have many defended sinking sand all because of a false belief system unchallenged ... belief systems are learned...either out of a lie or based in truth [The Word of God]

On being positive.. I like to remember that we are standing on the shoulders of giants!
That is, those who have gone before us have made our lives so great that its hard to see how anyone could complain. When jogging up a really steep hill in Ft. Steilacoom Park, I was thinking "If I were Paul, and knew that if I could jog to the top of this hill and there find the communication equipment and devices we have today and if Paul could use those devices to spread the Gospel to all the world... do you think he would make it to the top of this hill?" WOW, would he ever,, and guess what? We get to use all of that and more... So I feel that God has prepared us to be his ambassadors in this wonderful world that we can win for Jesus Christ... Another suggestion is to attend the Wednesday Morning Prayer Breakfast, hear great singing, pray for others and be prayed for, hear a testimony, be encouraged, its a great boost to make it through the week...
Read the Daily Bread and the Bible,, and pray for others daily...
Do random acts of kindness... Pay for someone's coffee or meal or snack..when you don't know them... tell them its in Jesus' Name..
Love your neighbor as you love yourself.. and remember to love yourself... you are the only you, you have...be good to others and be good to yourself...its contageous...

Our family policy is that we're allowed 5 minutes to wallow in the self-pity of negativity. Then, we're required to spend at least another 5 minutes finding the 'silver lining' in the situation. And the final step is to spend at least another 5 minutes thinking of creative solutions to the current dilemma. It always amazes me how inventive and creative we can become when we keep one another on task! Life is simply too short to live in self-inflicted misery!
