God has brought faithful to speak with us and share the truth that we need to hear to build our faith. to all who read this and are faithful in God's calling i want to say a speacial thank you because you are sowing into the future of God's kingdom. keep the fight and stay strong. When I was using drugs it always started out as a REWARD for myself for getting through something... When in essence it really wasnt a reward... It was a LIE!!!... Thank you for all the work that you and the Tacoma Rescue Mission do to help us that have fallen away from God.... You have helped me come back to know God and my personal relationship with him is being totally restored and renewed.... Thank you again to you Mr. Curry, and to all the employees of the Tacoma Rescue Mission and the New Life Program... You are all truly as blessing to me from God.... So very true Mr. Curry…. I believe it is important for ALL to know this information. Being in recovery myself & celebrating 4 years clean on October 1st (THANK-YOU GOD!!!), I have lived A LOT of the lies that I not only told others, but myself as well & that my drug of choice told me..."I can quit ANYTIME I want to.", "I don't have a problem." "This will make ALL your problems go away." Now my response to taht is "YEAH RIGHT!!!" I DID have a problem. I could NOT quit anytime I wanted to. Last but certainly NOT least, doing drugs did NOT make all my problems go away, it just compounded them, to the point that I lost custody of my 2 precious children not once, but twice before I was able to turn my back on drugs. I would love to share the story of how God took the taste, cravings, & urges away from me & how I keep from going back today!!! God Bless ALL that struggle with ANY form of addiction(s) & know that He can & will heal you of them. Thank-You Mr. Curry for today’s subject matter.
